Well it’s now Sunday, early in the morning I might add, but it’s time to BLOG the next wedding. This weekend I had the joy of hanging with a TON of friends. This wedding was super special because the bride is like family. The wedding was at Southern Hills Baptist Church with a reception at Meadowbrook Country Club. Everyone had a rocking time in the Tulsa Photobooth and the atmosphere was GREAT!

Bre and Chris were married on July 25th in a beautiful ceremony. The reception was an inspiring creation by Mershon’s Catering at the Tulsa Historical Society. Everyone had a great time at the reception. We had a photobooth there from TulsaPhotobooth.com that had a line all night long.

About 5 years ago my wife and I started TulsaPhotobooth.com because one of my brides, Angie, wanted a photobooth at her McBirney Mansion wedding. She couldn’t find one to rent anywhere and after searching I couldn’t find one for her either.

With the upcoming Tulsa Wedding Show on August 9th, we mark a great milestone for our business. We launched TulsaPhotobooth.Com at the Tulsa Wedding Show and have been a staple part of the show ever since. Being someone who is always amazed by looking at history, I wanted to say thank you to everyone who has experienced a Tulsa Photobooth over the past years.

We’ve celebrated the Urban Tulsa awards, experienced beautiful exhibits with the Philbrook Museum, promoted business with Dwelling Spaces, and taken photos of thousands of wedding guests at over 900 weddings.

Every time I visit a corporate office I see photo strips posted on the walls of everyone cubes. It is really humbling to see the impact our Tulsa Photobooths have had on Tulsa.

Melissa + Brad = Finally Married!!! {Awesome Tulsa Wedding Photography}

This past weekend I was able to enjoy another AWESOME Tulsa wedding with Melissa and Brad. Everyone in the wedding party totally ROCKED and the bride and groom weren’t to bad either. The best part about sharing a wedding day with so many people is when allow you to be a part of their life.

This wedding was no different, everything was amazing from makeup at Saks Fifth Avenue, to the reception at the Tulsa German American Society. Tulsa Wedding DJ rocked the dance floor and Ms. Laura provided some awesome food and a great cake! Everyone enjoyed the Tulsa Photobooth while trying to keep their clothes on…

Celebrity Photobooths! David Cook

As you may or may not know, I also own TulsaPhotobooth.com. We operate photobooths in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, Texas and Louisiana for wedding receptions and private events. We’ve had everything you can imagine and almost anyone you would want to see in our booths.

We had a call from a client saying that we had the “American Idol”, David Cook, in our booth here in Tulsa when he still lived here. Before the TV show, he lived here in Tulsa and worked at some of the local clubs as well as played in a band. Now I never knew who he was or heard him play, but I do remember the night he visited our photobooth.

We had the booth at the Urban Tulsa Weekly URBY awards. It was a “Wild and Crazy” night to say the least. Anyway, after looking at the images, I remember David visiting the booth several times. Such a small world….

Our photobooth company, Tulsa Photobooth, does several rentals each weekend. Ever so often I get a weekend where I’m not shooting a wedding, so I get to go and hang out with our booths. A few weekends back, we had a photobooth at a wonderful wedding at the Mayo Hotel. Chris Humphrey was the photographer for the couple and took the time to snap some cool images of our booth. I wanted to post one because it is a super cool image.
